Why this role is special:

You’ll be the first engineer and the fourth member of the founding team. This is a rare opportunity to shape not just the product, but the company itself.

• Solve fundamentally new problems using AI: we’re looking for engineers who are as excited as we are about venturing into the unknown, and pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with bleeding-edge AI technologies.
• Solve a problem every product team has. Not having enough traffic or resources to test all their ideas and find the best possible version of their product.
• Join a world-class team. The founders Spencer and Marcel have built and shipped products serving millions of users. We understand and value quality engineering.
• Have massive impact. This is a zero-to-one role, with high autonomy and ownership over how the product is built.

In this role, you will:

• Build the product from the ground up. Joining at an early stage, you will play a crucial role in shaping the implementation and engineering methodologies and culture. You won’t spend time fighting with a legacy code-base.
• Prototype, test, and iterate fast. We believe the fastest way to test assumptions is to build a prototype and put it in front of the user.
• Explore the capabilities of AI tooling. The capabilities of AI are moving fast, and we have to move fast with it. Together we will stay on top of the latest developments, and experiment with new technologies regularly.

Your background looks something like this:

• 0-to-1 product building experience - you have a history of building products from the ground up, all the way to release.
• Generalist > Specialization - even if you have an area or two of particular expertise, you don’t shy away from taking on new challenges and working on every area of the code-base.
• Software Craftsmanship - you take pride in building high-quality, robust and performant software.
• Product Mindset - you have experience building products with great user experience.
• Pragmatism > Process - you’re more focused on delivering value than perfecting naming conventions.
